“But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect” (1 Peter 3:15)
Does God exist? Is the Bible trustworthy? And what about Jesus – did he really rise from the dead? How can we even know?
These and many more questions are the focus of our conversation series, “Why believe? A conversation series for skeptics.” Here, we invite skeptics, atheists, and agnostics to examine the truthfulness of Christianity. In a few sequential lessons, we will read and discuss these topics together. We believe that the Christian faith can stand the test of being thoroughly investigated. Also, if Christianity is true, it is important and of great value. Therefore, we welcome and encourage everyone to explore these matters with us in a personal and engaging way.
